山辺恵理子（やまべ・えりこ）

1984年生まれ。東京都出身。アメリカ ニューヨーク州で幼少期を過ごし、東京大学教育学部を卒業、東京大学教育学研究科の修士課程を修了後、同大学院の博士課程在学中に日本学術振興会特別研究員（DC2）、スタンフォード大学客員研究員などを経て、2014年4月より2017年3月まで東京大学 大学総合教育研究センター 特任研究員を務める。2017年4月より都留文科大学国際教育学科勤務。東京大学博士（教育学）。 専門は教育哲学、教育の倫理、教師教育学。主に教師や教師教育者の教育観などについてのリフレクションに注目して研究している。また、教師向けワークショップや研修も多数実施。

Eriko YAMABE, Ph.D.

Born in 1984 in central Tokyo but spending most of her childhood in the State of New York, it was at a very young age that Eriko noticed the cultural differences that exists between countries, especially on the idea of school, teaching, and education. Fundamental assumptions on education, such as the extent to which equity in education is to be pursued, how conflicts and behavioral issues are to be addressed in schools, and what roles teachers are to play in education, are too often left unchallenged in domestic debates, while they differ remarkably among countries and regions. Her main field of research is philosophy and ethics of education and teacher education, and she mainly studies and gives workshops on the importance of teachers reflecting on their own teaching practices, and methods of facilitating deep reflections.
